Star Couple of My Childhood

Childhood nostalgia week is drawing to an end. I think Christine and I are having a great time.... not sure anyone else is. ha! I will upload pictures of incoming dog inchies later today... or tomorrow.... And.... sometime in the next few weeks I'm going to take us for a stroll down memory lane to visit what it was like to be a teenager in the sixties! But today we are going to see a video about my favorite star couple. They were kind of a "Brad and Jennifer" couple. Yes, they divorced. I was so sad. I think I was about 11 when they got married. But it was a huge deal! So it was at the, what I consider, end of my childhood... so we'll see more about them in my teen years... Aren't you excited!!!? Okay... indulge me.
You probably don't realize that she was the first one to play "Gidget" and succeeded Debbie Reynolds in the "Tammy" movies. I have a whole scrapbook dedicated to Sandra Dee and Annette......more about that another day.

Linda, you are cracking me up. Now I have to think of who was my fave star couple. I'm not sure. I think it was Edie Gorme and Steve Lawrence. They were always on TV together singing. I always thought they must have a storybook life since they were always singing.
Oh, but I loved Ernie Kovacs and Edie Adams. They were a riot. Remember him in the stupid gorilla mask with the cigar? OMG. I am feeling so old right now.

This has been a fun week, even if it has been just you and me for the most part. I can't wait to get my prize!!!
