The Love Squared Doll

The Pink Artist Doll - the Reveal is up! Be sure and go see it. She is beautiful. I am so happy that I participated in this... my little square is very simple. I just stitched a crocheted flower onto a square and added a few beads. My mother crocheted all her life. I have a few little crochet flowers that are loose that she made and I used one of those. I have tons of her crochet....but only a few that are in pieces like that. I wrote on the back of my square that it is dedicated to the memory of my mother who died in October of 2003 of lung cancer. She would have wanted to be a part of this doll project.

As you scroll down the page looking at the doll, you will come to the words Do you spot Your square? Mine is in the picture right above those words. You are going to love this doll and her dress.

The doll will be used to raise money for Susan G. Komen for the Cure. It will also appear in Art Doll Quarterly™.
Go look, and leave Monica a note. She is incredible.

I saw your square when I looked at Monica's blog earlier. The doll is amazing.

Linda, I'll never forget your part...it touched my heart that your mother made the flower and together you two created one square. Really, it's an honor to have your creation on our doll and your square is a huge part of the success of her completion... afterall, imagine how lonely my square would look sitting on a 40" doll all by itself. lol We couldn't have done this without you and your mother. Beauty... all 180 squares are true poetry. I'm enthralled by the outcome. You inspired this! :) your friend, Monica
