Summer 2016

Thought I'd put some pictures up from the last few months.
This buck was one of four that we came upon one afternoon when we took
the kids riding in the golf cart.  He posed for us while the others ran to the woods!

We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary at Brennan's in Houston with the kids.
Only the newest grandchild got to come along!!!

Below is just the Dirt Divas........... we've been together a long time....... this was for my birthday in May I think.

July 4th

 Ash at the zoo....

Below is a trip to the Dallas area to see my husband's brother's family.
That's their sister and her husband in our backseat.  It was HOT in Dallas in August.
We were on our way to dinner.

Below is a shot out the front of my car as I was driving to a spiritual retreat spot. I was on staff and had never been to this facility.  Looked ominous. It was great though!

I've taken a few classes this summer....
below is just a small peek...
you may recognize some Misty Mawn and Juliette Crane leanings.
Also did a few ICADs
and just some journal work...

Summer isn't over......
More to come......
I'm a bad blogger....

The Fourth Came and Went!

Chalk Drawings were done.
Some chalk may have been eaten.

Not everyone liked their hat!!!
Some did!

A group shot with the Baby!!!

Now here's a hat that was preferred after all........

We hope you had a great celebration.
My granddaughter called it Celebrating July...
she never did get the 4th part down.

Happy Hot 4th!

Don't let the heat get to you this weekend!
It's always hot on the 4th of July where I live....
But this year it's a bit worse... We are in an "extreme drought"....
Fireworks are banned in most areas.
We can still have some professional fireworks shows.... which is all I ever partake in any way!
Stay safe and enjoy!
Keep a CLEAR head!

Happy 4th of July!

I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
I made some inchies for a patriotic inchie swap at Christian Paper Artists!
I got carried away and made extras...
Color copied some and made ATCs.
The background on the ATC
and on some of the inchies
is a muffin paper cup I found at Michael's!
Some have a patriotic napkin that I've been using for art projects for years now!
There isn't anything as great as a good napkin!
Celebrate!
