July Snapping!

Have you ever played in a monthly photo challenge with a theme?

They can be fun..... and I do like having a theme for my day.

But in the quest to satisfy the theme, you end up taking other shots that just happen...

so here are a few I've taken lately .... some satisfy the day's theme and some don't.... but I like them all.

...below is fabric for nursery curtains for my future granddaughter (due in December)....

End of an era...

A little sadness in Houston today.

Don't you hate when people put sneak peeks of things on their blogs?

Me, too!

But I don't have anything going on that isn't either "not ready for publishing" or a "surprise" or just not presentable yet!

The QB5 (side bar) has a swap going on that is due to be mailed soon...

so that's what the above picture is for... just to torment them.

and below is simply today's picture in the July Flickr group I told you about previously.

Hopefully I'll have something blog worthy soon.....

but don't hold your breath.

When Your Favorite Book Becomes A Movie...

I loved this book! I only know a few people that have read it....

Tonight I was reading Bazaar magazine (it's my nod to a fashion attempt)

and there was an article about the movie!

I didn't know it was going to be a movie...

how did I miss that?

It hits theatre (note the absence of an s) on 7/15.

On 7/29 it hits theatre (again) in my city.

I do not live in a small town.

All I have to say is this....

if you live where it's showing,

you need to go and then tell me how it is.

It better make it to theatreS in my area!!!!

Finally this summer............. a reason to go to the movies!!!!

It's always hot on the 4th of July where I live....

But this year it's a bit worse... We are in an "extreme drought"....

Fireworks are banned in most areas.

We can still have some professional fireworks shows.... which is all I ever partake in any way!
