The Birds Found Me!

Remember we moved last June........... just a few miles from our last home
(which we lived in for 27 years)
.....
And one thing I've greatly missed was my birds....
Especially Henry & Louise (the Cardinals)

But we gave in and hung a feeder a few weeks ago....
Easter Sunday brought an abundance of new bird friends!

This blue bird couple below visit regularly.... mostly tapping on the windows....

...and looked who else showed up!

Louise!!!!

It was a great Easter!

...and she and Henry are showing up regularly...
haven't seen them in the bird bath yet.....

OH what a great thing that Henry and Louise caught up with you Linda!!!

Your bird pics are gorgeous and so many colorful birdies in your neck of the woods...

we saw our first Goldfinch the other day ... they have such a sweet song and cute dolphin way of zipping through the sky...

I enjoy the birds each and every day ... not when they are pecking on windows and such however ... that can make you crazy ... fingers crossed other than some Robin wars no one is banging their beak here... LOL

I don't think I've ever seen a bluebird! They're all so colorful! And H&L found you! (My cardinals are Bobby C. and Mrs. Bobby C!). We just hung new seed, hoping against hope Bushy the squirrel doesn't nab it before the others. I just love 'em!

This reminds me of a novel that was read to us in elementary school - The Incredible Journey - where the animals travel a long distance to find their home. Your cardinals have found you! Hooray.

Love the bluebird splashing in the bath!

How cool is that?! Great photos. You have some colorful visitors (we don't get blue and yellow birds here).
