Butterflies amidst the smoke

... working on potential wall art for grandbaby's room....
inspired by Margaret....

I tend to do browns and neutrals.... so working in nursery colors is a stretch for me...
Please continue to pray for Texas.... our drought... the heat has gotten better.... but the fires are raging..
most of these shots were lifted from the internet and are from the Magnolia Fire... close to Houston...

 God bless the firemen....

Your Butterfly inspiration is wonderful ... SO very pretty ... can just imagine how darling the baby's room will be with so many special touches!

p.s. it's like the monsoons here...we got three times as much rain as we did with Hurricane Irene

I think the gingham looks more "baby", but I LIKE the first photo too! You might have to have one hanging in your own house too.

Firefighters are the best! (not that I'm married to one or anything... :) If it's not bad enough to be out in the heat, they are dealing with fires in the heat!

Praying for rain for you.

I love these. I love these butterflies so much. And yes, the prayers for Texas continue. It breaks my heart to see your beautiful state suffering so.
