A Lightbulb Moment!

I just had to show you this.
Isn't this sad!?
I'm not going to tell you where I saw this...
but I found it appalling.
I should've left a note.... there was no one to tell that had any authority.
Have you witnessed such an atrocity?

It kind of looks like the stamen coming out of a tulip. Maybe that's the look they were going for.

But probably not.

I'm ashamed to tell you that I have a little bit of that going on in my house....because my penny pinching husband puts them in lamps and ceiling fan light fixtures everytime a bulb burns out.

That is just WRONG!

This is pathetic. I hate these things. The only bulbs I use them in are ones that stay on a long time (like the porch light under a glass cover) or where they can't be SEEN!

That's just plain ugly, Linda Jo. It took me forever to figure out what I was looking at!

Oug. Such an awful look. Those little tulip light fixtures are so cute.

Oh dear..is there not a woman that works at this place? I mean I'm all for smarter lightbulbs but they make them in normal shapes now.

ha ha ha! You must still have some connections within "the Bureau" [as in Feds]...could you turn this crime over to them for prosecution?!!!!

Love your reflection in the mirror...!

Ugh! I'm such a "mood lighting" nut; I have just not been able to make the adjustment. It sounds like I need to start hoarding the "old" bulbs as they won't be making them anymore. I know 20 years...but also 20 bucks and harsh! They can send a man to the moon but...I love your blog. Isn't that you in the birthday hat on ME's blog? She said Linda and it looks like you...either way are you thinking of going to St. Louis in November? I am. I'd love to see you!
