How's Your Decorating Going?

I had to laugh this morning!
I think that pillow says it all....
I don't think I've shown you these.... and if I have, just let me think I haven't....
I used to quilt abit....
I love that I did these.... I pull them out of the rubbermaid boxes this time of year and place them around the house....
Do you have any Christmas stuff that you made 20 years ago that you are showing on your blog?
Tell me so I can come see!
Look at that (not too closely)...
points, log cabin and applique!
Now I mostly use glue.

I love your quilting. I wish i was talented. I'm trying to be crafty but I'm so impatient, plus my hand eye coordination is horrible. You should have seen my making my neighbor gifts this year. I made these little tiny christmas magnets using those pebbles for decorating vases. I'm also attempting to make those photo blocks you did for Debbie's bridesmaids for my girlfriend gifts. I can't figure out how to make my ribbon look cute. :P I want to learn some embrodiering to make mother's day presents for my grandmas. Okay, I'll quit rambling.

other than my mom coming for xmas..... we are not super christmasy this year - they do not celebrate it here... BUT..... it's still commercialized - you can buy the stuff in the store... and I did not pack very much to bring here - so I am having a hard time getting in the mood :( BUT I did make a paper chain for the FAKE christmas tree (first time we have every had a fake one - wahhhhh) and I am working on a doily wreath for the front door - so finally my paper crafty skills are coming out from hibernation. I love your quilts and pillows - I wish I could hop on over for some tea or hot cocoa.... I miss you dear friend - love anna

I don't have any 20 year old projects as I give them away as fast as I'm finished with them. But my mother still has a few of mine. My quilting efforts are hung in my sister in love's guest bedroom.
My favorite Holiday saying right now is from an ornament I saw in the Hallmark store, it says, "I'll get my elves right on it!"
And that is how I am feeling right now.
I sure wish you lots and lots of Merry and Blessings this Christmas!

Aside from the tree, I don't decorate much. Our house is festooned with lights outside, but inside, the tree is about it. If I had pretty pillows like yours, they'd be on the floor and covered in dog hair. ha! Not much in my house stays where I put it.
Love the oH oH oH!
I made applesauce today (gifts) and wrote out several cards so I feel like I am on it!

My decorating is overdone as usual. Nice something is done, because nothing else is. Cards. Presents out. Presents bought. Cookies. One batch -- that's it. Shouldn't travel in December.
