It's Rodeo Time in Houston 2013

 

 

 

 

Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo is about to begin.

You have to love the trail riders....

every year they ride into the big city....

I've been watching them since only 1972... it was always an event to see them in Memorial Park

back in the 70's on my way to work in downtown Houston.... Now I'm lucky to catch a glimpse of

them coming in on 59 North....

And then there's the music lineup..... incredible every year!
All your favorite country music stars!
I can't begin to name everyone I've seen at the rodeo
(including Elvis and Sonny & Cher)

My husband was born here and he saw Roy Rogers & Trigger!
What a lucky guy!

Apparently most pinned from my blog is not my own work!
But, yet, I see my work pinned from other friends' blogs.
Why is that?
Am I not featuring my own creations well enough or do I just not get
"that kind" of traffic to my blog?

I admit I've been a bad blogger the past year.....

so should I feel badly that people aren't pinning things from my blog?

Cedric the Gnome

 

 

 

I have Cedric the Gnome here visiting this past week.

His home is in Canada.

He went to a Houston Rockets - Portland Trail Blazers NBA game Friday night.

He was so excited, he couldn't hold still and never did really stay in focus!

He's been lots of places on his trip around the country....
