January Marches On!

I do love Paperwhites!
They have got to be the easiest bulb to grow!

I've been a very bad blogger these last few months...
and I certainly don't seem to be improving in 2013.

So thought I'd try to share a bit...

Although I can grow Paperwhites,
I'm struggling with a couple of
Pyramind Hollies
in front of my house...

The people that know about this sort of thing
advised me to pull them up and add more
soil and water them more.

I thought they were maybe rotting....
no, they don't think so.....

I just bought them in December and
they were NOT cheap...
I am determined to save them!

Any expert advice?
(major leaf loss and no sign of insects)

I also FINALLY repaired a hole in The Pink Artists Quilt!
(None of the old links for that group work!!!)
Someone had used something resembling a whisk broom in it and it
had cut the fabric.  The quilt is very heavy and I had to fix the hole
before I can hang it.

DH is helping me hang it during halftime in the playoff game
that is on right now...

I'll show ya soon!

And my granddaughter keeps me a little busy...
not much....
but enough...

She saw her shadow Friday....

and then there was the Cotton Bowl
which the Aggies won!

Here is a shot of my granddog wearing his tshirt well!

I'm going to try to do better
or
I might stop blogging...

I think I'm running out of blog stuff...

I am such a plant and flower lover but their smell...well I won't elaborate LOL

wondering if your pretty bushes might need a larger container?

looking forward to seeing your quilt ... very cool that you have it/won it?!

still can't believe you're thinking of pulling the plug...say it ain't so!

I should try paperwhites. I've read about them but don't know anything...easy, huh? I can go for easy. Too late this year already though? I like the shadow shot with you and your sweet granddaughter!

Funny that Patty mentioned the smell of Paper Whites-- it gags me too, and I WILL elaborate.

These paperwhites are fabulous! Someone gave me bulbs which are lost somewhere in my garage -- I need to find them -- maybe they'd burst by march when I need them most! Four Star!

You could just change the theme of the blog for a while? Adventures that aren't art related? Maybe? x
