Finally found a painting we love!
So...you see I HAVE been doing stuff.
I've also been working on some things for Christmas
(and they involve the colors red and white and Santa Claus).

Good for you doing Christmas early! Leann at The Old Parsonage has a Christmas countdown that begins in the spring or summer, and I swear I should follow it along instead of panting for air at the end of the year. With retirement in the offing, I decided that this is the year for gifts from hand and heart in most cases -- and I'd better get those hands busy or they'll think poorly of the heart!
