inside an empty glass ornament
and
then glued a crocheted snowflake on top...
which is one of many my mother crocheted when she was living.
I gave it to my sister on Christmas Day!
I saw them HERE!
And I'm sure Patty led me there!
Thank you girls!

I think it's especially lovely that the doily is blue...bet your sis Loved it...so sweet and thoughtful of you Linda!
If I was smart I'd begin my Christmas decos for next year NOW :)
But as one of our favorite sayings goes: Too soon old...too late schmart ;)

I love it - but will I remember it for next year?
oh beautiful Linda, it worked wonderfully, love the blue too...
thanks for sharing with me....xx
That is the sweetest ornament. What a nice gift for your sister. It is making me brainstorm about all my great grandmas' handkerchiefs. When my Great Grandma Shinn passed away my mom saved her hankies for Barbie blankets. Now I have those as well as my Great Grandma Hudson's hankies. What to do....they aren't exactly being honored in a box.
That's a perfect gift. Perfect -- what a treasure to have hanging on the tree.
That's so cute! Happy New Year sweetie! Sandy xo
Oh Linda, This little ornament is so adorable....but having the items be from your mother? Priceless treasure. What a beautiful, thoughtful, gift to your sister! Xo, Sue
