My good friend, Nathalie sent me the Moravian Star ornament above in a beautiful handmade Christmas card last week. I, of course, tried to make one, too. Mine is below. I am only showing mine so she can see it. I have the basic concept down, just needs "refining"!!!!

Your star looks GREAT! You got the pattern down! The only thing I see "off" (unless it's a trick of seeing "off" in a photo) is that the strips of paper need to be uniform in width (measure and cut with a blade along a straight edge). I love your aluminum tree! Who would have thought 10 years ago that they would come back in vogue?
