Last night I realized the swap that I thought was due mid-July is actually due June 29th. Panic! So I spent this afternoon in the art room trying to pull something together!

This one below needs it's lace glued down...and both need their hangers on. I can't find my
upholstery tacks! I have a ton! I want
to put tacks on the side and
then wrap wire for the hanging.
These are all on 5 x 5 stretched canvas.
This one below...you've seen....it's my inspiration piece.

ReplyDeleteThey're FANTASTIC!! My favorite is the one at the very top. I can picture little bird babies wondering too far from the nest and her telling them to get there behinds back here! lol I love it!!

Linda Jo.... I love these so much!!! Beautiful! Don't you just love what all you can do with shredded vintage paper! Also, I love using carpet tacks! They really add a lot of dimension to a project!

I'm with Ashlyn, the top one is my favorite and not just because it has cool reflective lighting! Plush nest, great foliage texture in the background, colorful bird, and your ubiquitous vine ribbon (will you EVER run out?) Hope you find those furniture tacks. I hate it when I KNOW I have something and can't find it!
