This may just be a "southern" thing ...
but we invite friends to come by and see the baby with an event we call a "sip 'n see".....
We put out some food and some drinks and just sit around and visit and see the baby!
Since my teacher daughter was coming out for a few days
over Spring Break with her new baby girl...
I thought it was a perfect time to have some friends come by!
We actually had people coming and going for three days!
Wish you could've made it!
You would've had a great time and needed a little nap!
(I'll show you what I'm doing art wise next post...
I promise!)

I've never heard of a "sip n see" but it sounds like a great idea. And the guest of honor looks so sweet sleeping away in the swing.
Thanks for the email re your friend. We're not going to that area of the country. But I'd appreciate prayer nonetheless.

Oh, what a wonderful show-off time! She's beautiful! I'll have to remember a sip-n-see for a future date (I hope) when we have one of those hanging around!
Is that your sister with her? I just love the look on Ashley's face! Too funny! She's so gorgeous!
What a great idea for a gathering!~ BTW, the photos on my blog were actually just 2 photos on a white 8x10 background. Have a great day!
