Carole taught a video class on making a journal last year.
Here are the photos of my book.
I am using it to put notes from blogging friends in there...
that they send me in snail mail...
It's such a treat to get things in the mail from your blogging buddies!
I always save their little notes and so I'll have a representative number
in this little book and I can write my notes in the pages telling about them!
You can go here to sign up!
So sweet! I like your distressed looking fabrics. That Carole is quite the teacher-- I am just a poor student (I haven't quite finished mine yet...)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great journal - and a great way to keep those blogging notes. One day...
ReplyDeleteOh you must be so pleased to have one finished!
ReplyDeleteI sure did LOVE Carole's class...she is such a good teacher and great inspiration too!

Your journal is looking lovely! Of course I knew it would be!
ReplyDeleteDon't forget to add your blogging friends email addresses and blog names- fab idea! x
Oh, I remember this class {i think Patty blogged about it}. And i was sorely tempted.
ReplyDeleteLove what you made and the purpose for which you will use it. Brilliant! As I am sorting through boxes and boxes of books in the basement, before I pass any of them along, thanks to you, i want to start a belated reading journal. I adored that idea of yours as well!
I like the idea of putting blogger cards and notes in there!!!
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful journal, Linda Jo. I love the fabric and the birdies together. I will have to go check it out but I think now may not be the time.
ReplyDeleteThat is such a lovely idea to keep notes from your blogging friends in there! They would be the ones who would appreciate it!!!
Hugs,
Suz
