(it was a hard December across the globe)
Above is Nathalie's made from a light bulb!
Isn't it brilliant! It has paint and mica on it...I think.... we need a tutorial, Nat!
Thought I'd show you a couple of other things I've received in the mail this month...
Below is an adorable paper angel from Katie at Ragamuffin Gal.
Her wings are corrugated cardboard! I think that would be a great swap!
Isn't she precious! (the angel, too)
sent me this little matchbox
this week that she made
in honor of my daughter's wedding....
(last July)
What beautiful stuff! I'm thinking of trash in a whole new light! :)
ReplyDeleteI am so happy that you got her and that you like her too. You are such an inspiration to me of what a kind hearted artist should be. Over the years you have blessed my life in so many many ways. I am so glad to know you and to be your friend. I love all of your treasures, ~ so pretty.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Katie
Well, aren't you just the lucky QUEEN with all these little treasures? So sweet, every single one of them. I concur with your thoughts of Nathalie doing a little tut on her adorable piece!
ReplyDeleteFantastic treasures you have there! I love my Nathalie art too, such a clever idea!
ReplyDeleteLJ, Those are all wonderful works of recycling things to make art. I love the work of QB 5! Thanks for your support on my blog. It helps so much!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Suz
sweet pics of your special treasures...all so dear!
ReplyDeleteI {heart} my Nathalie Junkle too!

I like Katie's angel A LOT! I even have some torn up cardboard that she used on the wings. I would love an angel swap!
ReplyDeleteVery cute matchbox too!
My lightbulb already had paint on it-- the fact that it was scratched off in places (and I distressed it even more) was my shabby chic inspiration (hence the *GLITTER*!)
Isn't mail fun! Off to visit the others. And yes indeed -- Nathalie needs to do a tutorial!
